Full Description

We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at a mid-sized food manufacturing facility in the Cincinnati area. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the plant, including production, safety, quality, cost control, and team leadership. This is a high-impact leadership position with full ownership of site operations and the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements across processes, culture, and performance. Responsibilities: • Lead all day-to-day plant operations, including production, safety, quality, and maintenance • Manage and develop a team of approximately 100 employees (salaried and hourly) • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across efficiency, cost, and operational performance • Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards • Build a strong, accountable culture focused on performance and teamwork • Partner with cross-functional leadership (HR, Supply Chain, Quality) in a matrixed environment • Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve plant performance • Respond to operational challenges and support multi-shift production as needed Qualifications: • Experience in food manufacturing required (liquid processing experience a plus) • Current Plant Manager or Operations Manager ready to step into a plant leadership role • Experience managing operations in a manufacturing environment with 50–150+ employees • Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and leading teams • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred • Experience in beverage, dairy, sauces, syrups, or other liquid food production • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience • Spanish language skills (helpful but not required)
