WAREHOUSE MANAGER The Warehouse Manager for Skill Pack (kitting) reporting to the Sr. Distribution Center Manager. Activities and responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager include: • Ensure the quality of our product • Maintain the plant and all plant equipment including cleanliness. • Supervise all Skill Pack personnel and ensure proper staffing levels to meet production schedules. • Assist in consolidation of inventory to make efficient use of storage space • Report all warehouse hours, vacation time, & PTO to HR Representative • Coordinate workload with Sales department for holidays and changes in customer demand. • Assist upper management in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and procedures. • Responsible for employee conformance to established practices. • Direct warehousing of goods, equipment, and supplies. • Review and maintain ISO operational procedures for, handling and disposition of materials, maintenance and safety. • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities. • Responsible for training new employees. • Report all warehouse measurables in monthly staff meetings. • Lines received per man hour • Establish production schedule and workflow plan for Skill Pack areas • Other duties as assigned. Professional Experience Requirements: Education: • High School diploma required. Work Experience Requirements: • 3 to 5 Years warehouse supervisory experience, certified forklift driver, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Professional Skills: • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) • Ability to work independently and as member of a team • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices • Strong organization, analytical and computer skills • Able to create/develop an inclusive and engaged work environment across the enterprise • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Operations/Solutions (advanced level) • Knowledge of Lean principles, systems and tools (advanced level) • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (advanced level) • Knowledge of OSHA (advanced level) Position: Full-time Work Hours: 2nd Shift: 3PM-11:30PM, Monday-Friday Salary: $65,000-70,000/year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance We are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled employer.
