Job Description: The Quality Receiving Inspector reports to the Quality Manager. Activities and responsibilities of the Quality Receiving Inspector include: • Perform Fit, Form, and Function inspections on incoming parts using calipers, micrometers, and thread ring gages • Ensure incoming parts are properly identified and match order documentation • Review receiving labels for accuracy prior to parts being placed in inventory locations • Identify incoming RMA items and alert quality department of receipt • Review incoming material certs and notify quality department and purchasing of any missing documentation • Assist the quality department and shipping with dock audits when necessary • Assist warehouse with cycle counts or inventory location when necessary • Assist with identification, containment, and segregation of nonconforming material Professional Experience Requirements: Education: • A high school diploma or GED is required. Work Experience: • One to two years of experience in a quality assurance role. Experience with gages, testing equipment, and inspection techniques. Professional Skills: • 1+ year experience in production/warehouse/quality • Basic math and communication skills required • Basic computer skills • Ability to lift heavy items • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and thread gages • Basic visual familiarity with coatings (such as Yellow Zinc, and Black Zinc Oxide) is preferred Location: In-person, West Chester, OH Work Hours: 7AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday Hourly Pay: $19.00-26.00 (Depending upon experience) Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance
