Position Summary: The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and the efficient operation of facility equipment and infrastructure. This role oversees the implementation and the scheduling and coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Responsibilities: • Coordinate and schedule regular preventive maintenance for facility equipment, machinery, and systems. • Oversee work orders, ensure timely and efficient repair of breakdowns or malfunctions. • Work with contractors, vendors, and technicians to complete maintenance tasks. • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment documentation. • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering as needed. • Ensure equipment and systems meet operational and safety standards. Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or related field preferred. • Experience: 3+ years of experience in safety coordination and/or facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment. • Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; First Aid/CPR, NFPA, or other relevant certifications a plus. • Self-directed and works independently • Skills: • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.) • Working knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills • Ability to lead safety meetings and conduct employee training • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders regularly. • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed. • Comfortable working in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, noisy).
