Wire Harness Technician • 1st shift • Long Beach, CA • $37/hr • Aerospace Industry • Direct Hire A growing Aerospace company in Long Beach, CA is currently searching for a skilled Wire Harness Technician to join their team! Job Description: As a Wire Harness Technician, you will be responsible for building custom harnessing, which includes tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires based on diagrams. You will be involved in wire harness assembly, manufacturing verification, and interpreting drawings, including wiring schematics and docker images or schematics. Responsibilities • Construct wire cables with precision and accuracy. • Perform PCB assembly rework to ensure functionality. • Assemble and test electro-mechanical units. • Wire harnessing utilizing D3899 connectors. • Familiarity with NASA STD 8739.4, IPC-620, and J-STD-001. • Proficient in using DMM and oscilloscope. • Soldering and performing dead-bugging on PCBAs. • 5+ years using mechanical and electronic hand tools • Ability to build a wire harness from scratch and explain the full process • Current or previous certifications in NASA STD 8739.4,IPC-620, orJ-STD-001 – Highly preferred (not required) • Ability to troubleshoot wire harnesses • Candidates with an aerospace or automotive background are also encouraged to apply Please reply with your resume and contact Robert Pilon directly at 562 566 4718 if you are qualified.
