Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks related to inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. 2nd Shift - (3pm - 11pm) 19.80/hour (with opportunity to make $22+ within the year) Responsibilities • Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, updating the computer system, and placing items in the appropriate warehouse location. • Pick part orders in both low and high locations using an RF scanner and load orders onto production carts. • Participate in the cycle counting program and the bin/space consolidation program, ensuring the care and cleanliness of inventory and warehouse facilities. • Become cross-trained within the department and work in other departments as necessary. • Identify potential errors made by other departments and verify the work to meet customer expectations. • Adhere to company handbook and departmental rules, respecting fellow employees and maintaining safety standards. • Maintain warehouse equipment according to schedule, report any equipment problems immediately, and keep a neat and organized work area. • Accept responsibility for actions and work performed, maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork environment. • Participate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion programs and quality training. • Perform other duties as required. Essential Skills • Willingness to be certified to operate forklifts • Experience in packing and shipping/receiving. • Familiarity with inventory management, picking, and material handling using an RF scanner. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift certification is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility is a large, well-lit, and temperature-controlled warehouse. It is known for its industry-leading efficiency and reliability, akin to the Mercedes Benz or Lexus of its products. Located in Buffalo Grove, this facility is one of five in the U.S. and is divided into manufacturing and production areas. The production building houses 150 employees, with 100 working in production. The facility is extremely clean, organized, and automated, with many of our products utilized in-house. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
