Job Title: Testing Technician Job Description As a Testing Technician, you will be responsible for the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of production products. You will install firmware and test branded products, ensuring they meet quality standards. 6am to 2:30pm $28 - $35/hr Responsibilities • Perform testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments. • Measure power, signal, and temperature accurately. • Review test results with staff and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment. • Conduct production-line testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and firmware installation. • Operate basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines. • Read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards and units to the component level. • Demonstrate soldering and crimping skills. Essential Skills • Experience with electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transformers. • Proficiency in using test equipment like oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot machines, and DMMs. • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards. • 3-5 years of experience in testing electrical components. • Experience in high-volume testing for production panels. • Knowledge of Tele Com products, firmware installation, and computer networks. • Bench testing, calibration, and working with electrical panels. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to perform work under minimal supervision. • Handle complex issues and problems independently. • Comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. • Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
