Job Title: SMT Operator/SoldererJob Description As an SMT Operator/Solderer, you will be tasked with assembling or modifying electrical or electronic equipment, including computers, test equipment, telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. This role requires precision in handling small components, a keen eye for detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities • Assemble electronic components using hand soldering techniques. • Prepare parts for assembly through thorough inspection and preparation processes. • Operate pick and place machines with accuracy and efficiency. • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times. Essential Skills • Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly. • Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT). • Ability to handle small components with precision. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to soldering fumes, chemicals, and noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
