Urgently Hiring Quality Inspctors for a leading Electronics Manufacturer!! Pay: $25 - $27 Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm Location: Fairfield, NJ Job Description As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections on components to ensure they conform to technical data, conducting inspections of repairable parts and components at various stages, and generating and reviewing First Article Inspection documentation. You will also maintain calibration records and tools, support various initiatives, and provide inspection and administrative support for timely quality matters. Responsibilities • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on components to ensure conformance to technical data (Product Verification Audits). • Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections of repairable parts and components. • Generate and review First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation for compliance with industry standards. • Maintain calibration records and tools. • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Quality, Ethics, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Provide inspection and administrative support for timely handling of quality matters. Essential Skills • Inspection and quality control expertise. • Quality assurance knowledge. • Electrical quality inspection skills. • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or equivalent 2-year post-high school training. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in MS Office. • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and bending. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • U.S. citizenship required for ITAR compliance. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Must be able to obtain and maintain ATF Possessor License. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates on the first shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some work located at the Byram location. The work environment includes both office and production facility settings, with exposure to temperature changes, dust, and uncontrolled environmental conditions. Work areas are lighted and ventilated, and reasonable accommodations are made for prolonged computer use and meeting deadlines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
