Job Title: Production Worker - 700 BuildingJob Description We are seeking enthusiastic candidates to be responsible for the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products in our state-of-the-art 700 building. This role involves handling raw materials, feeding wire into the production line, operating machines, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality through detailed specifications. The automated machines perform most of the heavy lifting, making this job easier on the body, while requiring a keen attention to detail and safety. Responsibilities • Handle raw materials to prepare for production. • Load the production line by feeding raw wire as needed. • Interpret specification sheets to set up machines. • Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues. • Read HMI touchscreen to maintain production quality. • Pull enamel samples and document in-process updates. • Use overhead crane to move finished spools of wire. • Operate forklift to store finished products in the warehouse. Essential Skills • General labor experience. • Machine operation skills. • Quality inspection proficiency. • Assembly and production experience. • Forklift certification. • Ability to read, write, and understand English work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. • Comfortable with heights and using grated stairs. • Open to forklift training. • Strong tenure at previous employers. • Willingness to be trained and work independently. • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Work Environment The 700 building is a newly automated facility, closely resembling a clean room environment for more regulated manufacturing, particularly for automotive customers like Toyota. It is temperature-controlled, less industrial, and requires attention to detail and cleanliness. The facility operates on a 2/2/3 schedule with first and third shifts available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr.
