Job Title: Press Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Press Operator in a thriving aerospace manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art injection molding machines and hot presses to produce high-quality rubber parts. 1st shift - $17.50/hr 6am to 2:30pm (OT is worked at 4am) Responsibilities • Mold parts according to written specifications provided. • Remove parts, clean tools, and load the press with materials for new cycles. • Inspect molded parts frequently and place products in manufacturing tote boxes. • Operate presses efficiently and timely, meeting quality and quantity requirements. • Provide accurate production information. Essential Skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Eager and positive attitude. • Mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications • No previous experience or resume required. • Spanish speaking only is acceptable. • Desire to enter the manufacturing industry and build a long-term career. Work Environment Work in a well-organized, lean six sigma facility with extensive use of injection molding machines and hot presses for the aerospace industry. The environment is maintained with AC units to ensure comfort despite the machinery's heat. This is an ITAR facility, emphasizing security and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
