Job Title: Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler/Expediter for our 1st shift. The Expediter ensures that production equipment has a continuous stream of materials to process according to the production schedule. This role is crucial in maintaining the accurate transfer of materials through the warehouse and ensuring system scans are up-to-date. Responsibilities • Deliver necessary raw materials to machines based on the current order needs. • Set up computers for operators to print labels. • Deliver finished goods to inventory. • Ensure continuous processing of all machines with no downtime due to lack of raw material. • Assist in processing materials from the Extruder to inventory. • Ensure proper rotation of inventory by pulling in FIFO order. • Perform proper lock out/tag out procedures on trailers and maintain forklift and lift lead certification in good standing. • Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards. • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor. Essential Skills • Forklift operation experience. • Inventory management. • Material handling. • Computer skills including data entry. • Experience in expediting materials. • RF Scanner proficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. • Experience with various forklifts: Sit-down (counterbalance), Narrow Aisle (Reach truck), Electric Pallet Jack, Rider pallet jack. • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally. • Good attendance record. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
