Lead maintenance team to ensure equipment operates efficiently, troubleshoot and repair machinery, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience with skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting, along with leadership capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure all equipment and machinery are operating at peak performance. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong mechanical expertise, a working knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to train, mentor, and coordinate a team of technicians. Key Responsibilities • Ensure facility equipment and machines are properly maintained and functioning correctly • Oversee the facility’s maintenance program; identify and analyze equipment/machinery failures and implement corrective actions • Provide technical training and guidance to operators and team members • Coordinate work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed filling and packaging equipment • Support production line changeovers and continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain housekeeping standards in all work areas, shops, and parts storage areas • Execute work orders on time and in priority order as assigned by management • Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot production equipment Technical Focus • Mechanical, electrical, VFD sensor experience required • Welding experience is a plus but not required • Must own personal tools Skills & Qualifications • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems • Ability to read schematics and blueprints; PLC troubleshooting experience preferred • Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and preventive maintenance practices • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience (required) • Ability to work long periods on your feet, bend/stoop repetitively, and lift up to 25 lbs • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to delegate and prioritize tasks • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work Leadership & Team Management • Lead a team of maintenance technicians with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability • Provide mentorship and technical training to build team capability • Collaborate with production leadership to support operational goals Benefits & Perks • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO • 401(k) Plan: Eligible after 6 months of service; 100% match for the first 3% contributed, 50% match for contributions up to 5% of wages • Disability & Life Insurance: Short-term and long-term disability plus $25K life insurance coverage at no cost after 60 days • Summer Perks: Cooling rags and hydration pops to keep employees safe and comfortable • Additional Coverage: Paid holidays, safety-focused work environment, and opportunities for career growth Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Concord, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00/yr. -Dental Medical Vision 401K PTO (AM has benefits package attachments- please request so you have this for IOI's) - Facility offers cooling rags and hydration pops to stay cool and hydrated in the summer - Short-term and long-term disability and $25K in life insurance coverage at no cost to the employee after the 60-day waiting period - Employees are eligible to join our 401(k) plan after six months of service.
