As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficiency of warehouse operations. Role and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for counting, tracking, and managing inventory across multiple areas, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to the team's overall success. • Physically count parts of various sizes, from screws to larger components. • Use the inventory system to locate and track parts across multiple areas. • Enter data accurately into Excel and ensure findings are shared with the counting team. • Collaborate with the team to determine next steps based on inventory findings. • Perform line audits and quality checks, including handling materials physically. • Update and post inventory metrics using Excel to create tables and charts. • Lead organized meetings to review metrics and drive improvement. • Capture action items and follow up with responsible team members to implement improvements. • Execute small action items such as hanging signs and adding labels. Required Skills and Experience: • Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail. • Comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift. • Competency in performing line audits and quality checks. • Familiarity with computer systems and Excel for data management. Preferred Qualifications: • Audit and quality experience is beneficial. • Ability to lead organized meetings and communicate effectively via email. Compensation and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.56/hr.
