Job Title: Forklift Operator Pay: $17.50 Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating the Crown Reach Truck to efficiently unload and maneuver equipment in tight spaces while maintaining load stability. Your role will require you to retrieve and place pallets at various heights, perform daily equipment inspections, and follow warehouse safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate Crown Reach Truck to unload and safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces while maintaining load stability. Retrieve and place pallets at varying heights, including high-level racking. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow warehouse safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards. Accurately scan, label, and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS). Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and order picking. Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet productivity goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, specifically the Crown Reach Truck. Ability to unload and load trucks efficiently. Skill in using a stand-up forklift (Crown Reach Truck). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with slit machine operations is a plus. Proficiency in picking and putting away items. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
