Job Title: Facility Project ManagerJob Description As a Facility Project Manager, you will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality customer relationships through daily communication and proactive engagement with clients. You will manage and support field technicians, ensuring they have the necessary resources, direction, and technical guidance to complete work successfully. You will be responsible for reviewing, estimating, and scheduling work orders within SLA timelines, conducting meetings with the Service Coordinator, and ensuring staffing requirements are met to maintain service levels. Responsibilities • Maintain strong, relationship-driven client interactions, including proactive outreach and non-issue-specific engagement. • Manage and support field technicians, ensuring they have resources, direction, and guidance. • Ensure work orders are reviewed, estimated, scheduled, and completed within SLA timelines. • Conduct daily meetings with Service Coordinator to review work order status and scheduling needs. • Determine staffing requirements, hire, train, and develop team members. • Set employee goals and identify training opportunities. • Plan and implement procedures to maximize operational efficiency. • Review performance data and productivity metrics to monitor team effectiveness. • Assign personnel to work orders or coordinate subcontractors when needed. • Align service schedules with company policies and client expectations. • Maintain work order costs within established budgets. • Enforce safety standards according to OSHA and company policies. • Maintain a written education plan and pursue career development goals. • Submit estimates within SLA timelines and prepare monthly budgets. • Increase work order volume from existing clients by 10% month-over-month. • Maintain high employee satisfaction and engagement. • Meet or exceed monthly work order and revenue targets. Essential Skills • 5–8 years of trade management or equivalent experience. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. • Experience managing teams of 10 or more. • Strong understanding of construction and maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, framing, drywall, tile, cabinetry, and general finish work. • Ability to understand technical scopes of work and support technicians and subcontractors. • Knowledge of commercial building codes and ADA requirements. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software. • Knowledge of strategic planning, HR principles, accounting basics, and administrative procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasanton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
