1st Shift Cherry Picker Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift and Order Picker Operator responsible for the timely and accurate processing of order fulfillment for direct-to-consumer, wholesale distributors, and stock transfers. Responsibilities • Adhere to order fulfillment and scanning guidelines, maintaining focus and accountability on the movement of inventory through handheld scanners. • Prepare shipments by palletizing, wrapping, and banding them as directed. • Operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, order selectors, and pallet jacks. • Proactively communicate all issues related to products and orders to distribution center leadership. • Assist in meeting established KPI metrics as they apply to order fulfillment. • Ensure all safety rules and guidelines are followed. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all warehouse associates by practicing 'clean as you go' (CAYGO). • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Essential Skills • Proficiency in operating forklifts, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks. • Experience in inventory control and material handling. • Ability to operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Understanding of basic Microsoft Office and other job-related applications. • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred. • Prior warehouse experience is preferred. • High School diploma/GED or 2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred. • Ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively communicate with team members.
