Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Land Surveying CAD Technician / Drafter & Client Project Manager to join our team and lead construction layout projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will perform drafting work on both ordinary surveys and CALC work for new construction jobs, manage client communications, and oversee project coordination on construction sites. You should be able to speak and write English well as you will be the liaison between the company and the client. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, leveraging your technical skills and project management acumen to drive excellence in the field. We are hiring in order to expand our presence in the state of Florida as we have an aggressive growth plan to deploy to multiple locations in the state. Duties • Develop detailed CAD drawings for construction layout using AutoCad Civil 3D, Carlson or other compatible software. • Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to interpret survey data and translate it into accurate plans for construction site layout. • Manage client communications, ensuring clear understanding of project scope, timelines, and deliverables throughout all phases of the project. • Oversee construction layout activities, providing real-time guidance to field crews to ensure precise placement of structures according to design specifications. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Land Surveying CAD Technician / Drafter with strong proficiency in CAD software. • Must have your own CAD software license and computer. • Strongly preferred to have some drafting experience in the state of Florida. • Demonstrated knowledge of reading client drawings. • Prior hands-on experience in construction layout or survey data processing on active job sites is highly preferred. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. • Ability to read and write in English Note: This is a W-2 position with the expectation to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Pay: $66,500.00 per year Work Location: Remote
