Requirements

3+ years of environmental due diligence experience, preferably with Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae ESA projects, bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field, and certifications such as AHERA and OSHA HAZWOPER preferred.

Full Description

Description: • Perform environmental due diligence projects focused on commercial real estate • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Agency-focused Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae ESA projects • Perform environmental reviews and state and federal regulatory program file reviews • Conduct field investigations • Apply basic understanding of commercial real estate lending and finance to due diligence • Provide superior customer service, technical writing, and timely project management • Coordinate with clients and senior staff; manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines • Travel as necessary for fieldwork and client needs Requirements: • 3+ years of previous experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I ESAs (preferred) • Previous experience performing Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae ESA projects focused on Agency lenders and Agency investor platforms (preferred) • Excellent writing, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills • Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels • Willingness to travel as necessary • Self-starter and resourceful; ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or related field • Active AHERA certification (preferred) • Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification (preferred) Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • Paid time off and sick leave • Life insurance • Short-term and long-term disability insurance • 401K • Complimentary use of AEI’s condo at Donner Lake in Truckee, CA • Employee Referral Bonus Program • Commuter Tax and Dependent Care Benefits
