Project Engineer - Capital Projects & New Product Introduction Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a leading manufacturing client in the on the west side of Nashville that is seeking a Project Engineer, with a focus in manufacturing and new product introduction (NPI). This is a direct hire opportunity offering up to $120,000 annually plus bonus. This engineer will lead and execute capital expenditure (CapEx) projects with a focus on new product development. This role requires a seasoned engineer and proven project manager who can successfully drive long-term projects, align cross-functional teams, and deliver results on time and within budget. Responsibilities: • Plan, lead, and manage CapEx projects from initial concept through full implementation, focusing on new product launches and manufacturing improvements. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership to ensure alignment across all project phases. • Define project scope, develop detailed schedules, track milestones, and manage budgets. • Lead vendor selection and relationship management, including contract negotiation and performance oversight. • Oversee plant layout updates, equipment design modifications, and technical implementations. • Analyze project risks, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. • Prepare reports, track KPIs, and present project updates to upper management and cross-departmental teams. • Act as a key liaison between technical engineering teams and business leadership to ensure project objectives are met. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required). • 5–10+ years of experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects. • Strong track record of leading large-scale, multi-year projects. • Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, and cross-functional communication. • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for project tracking and reporting. • Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar design software. • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and presentation skills.
