8+ years experience in utility/railroad field, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools, and ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Description: • Support the Utilities Project Manager by coordinating utility and railroad work with internal teams and third parties • Build strong working relationships, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines • Maintain tracking systems and provide regular status updates • Coordinate with the client, Design Builder, PCM teams, and third-party utilities or railroads, attend meetings, review project documents • Report on discovered utility/railroad issues and participate in issue resolution • Prepare status reports and maintain tracking log for issues and resolutions Requirements: • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • 7+ years of experience in the utility/railroad field (preferred) • Experience reviewing utility/railroad designs to ensure compliance with utility/railroad land rights and design standards • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) • Strong organizational skills with ability to track large data sets and illustrate, analyze and convey those data sets effectively • Ability to prepare technical correspondence and complete comprehensive reports • Ability to identify potential land rights conflicts • General understanding of land survey principles and ability to read and plot legal descriptions • Degree in engineering, business or law preferred but not required • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, Power BI, scheduling software and SharePoint • Ability to maintain good communication skills and working relationships with third party agencies, management, consultants, private sector contractors, subcontractors, and their associations • Experience in developing and reviewing alternative route studies • Travel may be required • Sponsorship is provided Benefits: • medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits • paid time off • leaves of absences • voluntary benefits • perks • flexible work options • well-being resources • employee assistance program • business travel insurance • service recognition awards • retirement savings plan • employee stock purchase plan
