Manage and oversee complex federal environmental investigation and remediation projects including scheduling, budgeting, client interaction, and team leadership.
6+ years of environmental remediation project management experience, professional licenses (PE, PG) preferred, knowledge of CERCLA and federal regulations, and experience managing federal clients.
Description: • Oversee Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects • Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Manage CERCLA projects and federal facilities work • Manage RI/FS, Remedial Design, and Five Year Reviews • Regular client interaction on technical, cost, and schedule topics • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • Project scheduling and staff/resource scheduling to ensure on time and on budget delivery • Analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to regulations to ensure compliance • Oversee preparation of work plans and organize project studies • Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Occasional overnight travel required Requirements: • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field • 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Citizenship is required • Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities • Experience managing RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews • Experience as a project manager (preferred 5+ years directly as a project manager) • Experience in environmental remediation (soil, water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management (preferred 10+ years) • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states (preferred) • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related (preferred) • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, Air Force, Navy, EPA) • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes • Project scheduling experience and expertise • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills • Interest in business development • Have led teams in Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies Benefits: • medical • dental • vision • life • AD&D • disability benefits • paid time off • leaves of absences • voluntary benefits • perks • flexible work options • well-being resources • employee assistance program • business travel insurance • service recognition awards • retirement savings plan • employee stock purchase plan
