Job Description: • Support the Environmental business line, primarily overseeing Federal environmental remediation projects • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices • Utilizes existing technologies and experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance • Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking • Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager • Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies • Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team • Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work • Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement Requirements: • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid US Drivers License • U.S. Citizenship is required • Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) • 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy) • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA • Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills • Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Interest in business development • Have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction, in support of Federal environmental projects • Occasional overnight travel required Benefits: • medical • dental • vision • life • AD&D • disability benefits • paid time off • leaves of absences • voluntary benefits • perks • flexible work options • well-being resources • employee assistance program • business travel insurance • service recognition awards • retirement savings plan • employee stock purchase plan
