Lead and manage federal environmental remediation projects ensuring compliance, budget, and schedule adherence while developing technical solutions and proposals.
Requires 10+ years in environmental remediation project management, senior leadership experience, relevant degree in environmental or earth sciences, and preferred professional licenses.
Description: • Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices • Utilizes existing technologies and experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance • Manage/perform programs under a FFP or CPFF contract • Develop complex technical approaches and competitive pricing for programS • Support Environmental business line, primarily overseeing Federal environmental remediation projects • May work remotely for the right candidate Requirements: • BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field • 10 years of relevant experience and/or education including 2 years of Senior leadership • 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education • Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar) (preferred) • 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management (preferred) • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred) • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations (preferred) • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy) (preferred) • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA (preferred) • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget • Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls • Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals • Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written • Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work • Position may require travel Benefits: • medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits • paid time off • leaves of absences • voluntary benefits • perks • flexible work options • well-being resources • employee assistance program • business travel insurance • service recognition awards • retirement savings plan • employee stock purchase plan • access to exceptional training and career development opportunities • award-winning training and development programs
