Manage and lead CWM removal projects under federal contracts, develop technical approaches and pricing, prepare workplans and schedules, manage budgets and quality, and serve as Deputy Program and Client Manager for USACE Huntsville Center.
Requires a BS/BA in engineering or related field, 10+ years federal project management experience in CWM remediation, US citizenship, knowledge of USACE and DoD MMR programs, proposal writing skills, and ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
Description: • Manage/perform CWM removal under a FFP or CPFF contract for USACE • Develop complex technical approaches and competitive pricing for the identification and removal of CWM and/or traditional munitions • Prepare CWM workplans and schedules • Manage budgets and quality • Lead field teams during removal actions in the field • Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center • Work with a team of technical experts to deliver remediation services to clients in the Federal market Requirements: • BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field • 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education • US citizenship is required • USACE MMRP experience performing CWM remediation operations (preferred) • Thorough knowledge of USACE EP 75-1-3 and experience with DDESB-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS) development/implementation (preferred) • 5+ years’ experience managing CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget • Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written • Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work • Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification • Experience managing CWM projects for the USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal • Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals • Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively • Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes • Excellent and relevant references • Position may require travel Benefits: • medical • dental • vision • life • AD&D • disability benefits • paid time off • leaves of absences • voluntary benefits • perks • flexible work options • well-being resources • employee assistance program • business travel insurance • service recognition awards • retirement savings plan • employee stock purchase plan
