Billing & Revenue Analyst – Mission-Driven Startup – Remote Our client, a mission-driven technology start-up that’s recently raised $100M+ in funding from top name VC-firms, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing & Revenue Analyst to join their growing finance team. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment while partnering directly with the VP of Finance to establish and scale the company’s billing, AR, and collections operations. Responsibilities: • Own the full spectrum of billing and accounts receivable functions, including reconciliation of incoming law firm payments, verification of amounts, and follow-up on outstanding balances. • Build structure and documentation around payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scalability as the company grows. • Communicate with external partners to resolve discrepancies, track collections, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon payment terms. • Develop and implement scalable workflows and reporting processes to support new partnerships. • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance leadership, operations, and account management to streamline the revenue process. • Leverage advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) to track, analyze, and report on billing and collections activity. • Support monthly close activities by preparing reconciliations and ensuring billing accuracy. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. • 2–5 years of relevant experience in billing, revenue operations, AR, or collections. • Strong Excel skills, with proven ability to manage large datasets and perform reconciliations. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact daily with external partners. • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to own a function from day one in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
