Schedule: Full Time Shift: 40 hours a week; M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm, w/rotational weekends and some pm shifts when needed Location: 120 North Oak Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521 The community you'll be caring for: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale The role you'll contribute: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the facility. The value you'll bring to the team: • Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, and systems. • Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, independently or in collaboration with internal/external trades. • Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. • Documents and maintains records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements. • Requisitions materials and supplies, maintaining inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks. • Responds to emergency calls in a timely manner to address urgent maintenance issues. • Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and completion of tasks. • Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities and ensure proper procedures are followed. • Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions. • Ensures compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency. • Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. • Other duties as assigned.
