Job Overview Summary Advarra is seeking a senior clinical strategy leader to help shape the future of data-driven clinical development. As Vice President, Clinical Product Strategy and Partnerships, you will serve as the clinical interface for product innovation, lifecycle solution design, and strategic customer and partner engagement. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with a clearly defined path to build and lead a team. The expansion of scope will occur in step with growth across our product portfolio, services delivery, and business operations. You will partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and commercial leaders to ensure Advarra’s solutions meet the real-world needs of sponsors, operators, and sites. Your focus will span study design, feasibility, trial conduct, and operational delivery. From value frameworks to customer advocacy, you will play a key role in translating market signals into scalable, validated use cases and measurable business outcomes. Job Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Product and Lifecycle Solution Leadership • Translate emerging customer needs into validated use cases and clinical problem statements that inform product strategy. • Partner with the SVP of AI and Data Product Development to define product vision, commercialization strategy, and a roadmap that delivers lifecycle-aligned solutions across study design, feasibility modeling, trial conduct, and operational delivery for sponsors, CROs, and sites. • Serve as a voice of the customer and the market, using insight and evidence to guide product prioritization, architecture, and business case development. Value Frameworks and Go-to-Market Contribution • Lead development of value frameworks that define expected business and clinical outcomes for each product and service offering. • Partner with Product Marketing to shape go-to-market content, including ROI narratives, editorial calendars, and strategic messaging. • Drive product-market fit assessments and contribute to commercialization planning as offerings move from pilot to early access and general availability. • Align case studies and customer storytelling with launch milestones and solution capabilities. Thought Leadership and Ecosystem Engagement • Lead the development and execution of Advarra’s Thought Leadership Council, including content strategy, publication cadence, and external co-authorship opportunities. • Represent Advarra at conferences, industry forums, and customer events, delivering thought leadership aligned with platform and product evolution. • Drive creation of white papers, podium abstracts, and expert contributions to market-facing materials. • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Product Development Lifecycle • Act as a clinical strategy partner across the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), responsible for intake, framing, and qualification of new business and partnership opportunities. • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Success to refine opportunities, quantify value, and prioritize initiatives. • Contribute to decision-making by tracking realized ROI of solutions, with an initial goal of ±20% accuracy within 6 months of release. • Finalize lifecycle-aligned success metrics within the first 90 days in role, to serve as a proxy for strategic influence and business impact. UX and Insight Development • Support user experience design and product discovery through structured insight generation from clinical stakeholders. • Build and maintain a voice-of-customer framework that reflects the needs of both clinical development and clinical operations users. • Operationalize insight gathering in partnership with Commercial and Marketing leaders to inform continuous product improvement. Managed Services and Delivery Readiness • Lead early-stage testing and iteration of product-enabled managed services, including workflow definition and performance modeling. • Provide advisory input on team structure, phenotype, and operational readiness for service delivery at scale. • Support onboarding and handoff to central delivery teams, acting as a subject matter expert in early deployment contexts. Location This role is open to candidates working in the United States. Basic Qualifications • 15+ years of experience in clinical development, clinical operations, or digital transformation within sponsor, CRO, or technology-driven environments. • Proven ability to translate complex customer needs into actionable product and service strategies. • Deep knowledge of protocol digitization, clinical workflow automation, and data-informed trial optimization. Preferred Qualifications • Confident communicator with executive presence and experience representing organizations in customer, partner, or industry settings. • Demonstrated success working in high-growth, cross-functional environments with strong collaboration and execution skills. The base salary range for this role is $235,000 - $308,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
