Description Systems Engineer – Golang Focus Advanced Sentry is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Golang to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services and APIs using Golang - Debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems to ensure high availability and performance - Build scalable infrastructure to support real-time data processing and security workflows - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and optimize architecture - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements - Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards - Support deployment, operation, and maintenance of backend systems in a production environment Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience developing production-grade Golang services - Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and scalable backend design - Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed environments - Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) - Knowledge of security protocols, real-time data processing, and high-availability systems - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team - Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience At Advanced Sentry, we foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and growth. Requirements - 2–6 years professional software engineering experience - Production experience programming in Golang (Go) - Experience building backend APIs or distributed systems - Experience working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) - Experience debugging production systems - Understanding of HTTP APIs and service architecture
