Director of Procurement & Operations About the Role We are seeking a strategic, detail-driven Director of Procurement & Operations to lead our sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and day-to-day operational workflows. This leader will play a key role in strengthening our supply chain, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You combine strong negotiation skills with the ability to build cross-functional processes that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities Procurement Leadership • Develop and execute procurement strategies that support organizational goals and budget targets. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive cost savings and quality improvements. • Oversee purchasing operations and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. • Implement long-term supplier partnerships and contract management processes. Operations Management • Lead day-to-day operational workflows across departments to ensure efficient execution and service delivery. • Analyze and improve operational processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Logistics, HR) to align operations with company goals. • Establish and track KPIs to measure procurement and operational performance. Strategic Planning & Execution • Develop annual procurement and operational plans aligned with organizational strategy. • Lead risk mitigation efforts related to supply chain, sourcing, and inventory. • Manage operational budgets and monitor cost performance across departments. Leadership & Team Development • Manage and mentor a team of procurement, operations, and administrative professionals. • Create a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. • Provide leadership during operational challenges, ensuring decisions support long-term organizational success. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 8+ years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills. • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software preferred. Preferred Skills • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certifications • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or related environment • Strong project management capabilities • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing organization
