Full Description

Summary: The project manager's job is to plan, organize, and oversee lockout projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and to the required standards. The Project Manager will travel to customer manufacturing facilities to assess equipment and its lockout points as well as install lockout placards and icons. The Project manager will also support creating electronic files and making physical signs as needed. Functions: · Customer Interaction – Interface with customers to understand standards and requirements; regularly communicate timing, status, and updates · Onsite Review - Onsite lockout assessment of manufacturing equipment based on internal and external standards · Creation of Electronic Proof Files – Using customer CAD files, build electronic lockout placard files based on internal and external standards · Installation of Placards and Icons – Affix lockout tagout placards and icons to customer manufacturing equipment based on internal and external standards Education/Experience/Requirements: · Associate or Bachelor’s in Safety or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) preferred o Open to other backgrounds depending on applicable experience (Manufacturing experience a plus) · Ability to communicate effectively with various personnel, including management, maintenance staff, and contractors. · Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of LOTO activities · Overnight travel required within North America and potentially abroad (car rental/hotel reservations required) · ASG will provide specific training in the following areas (prior experience a plus) o Knowledge of LOTO procedures and best practices (ex: OSHA 1910.147) o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and equipment manuals o Understanding of safety procedures and regulations Pay and Benefits: · The candidate will receive a competitive salary and paid time off. · ASG also offers a comprehensive benefits package including: o Medical, vision, and dental insurance o Employer retirement contributions o Performance bonuses
