Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager (NPI - New Product Introduction) to lead cross-functional teams through the entire lifecycle of new product development and launch. This role is pivotal in driving program success by managing complex projects, fostering collaboration, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to market. The ideal candidate will excel at program development, utilize agile methodologies, and apply rigorous risk and quality management practices to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives. Duties • Lead the planning, development, and execution of new product introduction programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs. • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and success criteria for each project phase. • Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet, incorporating scope management, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation strategies. • Implement change management processes to adapt project scope or timelines while maintaining stakeholder engagement and minimizing disruption. • Oversee program portfolio management activities to prioritize initiatives based on business value, resource capacity, and strategic alignment. • Conduct root cause analysis and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies across project workflows. • Manage vendor relationships and IT infrastructure components essential for product development and deployment. • Facilitate meetings using effective communication skills, conflict management techniques, and presentation skills to ensure clear stakeholder understanding. • Monitor project performance using earned value management metrics; adjust plans proactively to control costs and meet deadlines. Qualifications • Proven experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with a strong background in program development and project leadership. • Strong skills in requirements analysis, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management tools like Visio or SharePoint. • Proficiency in data analysis skills including data collection and root cause analysis; familiarity with SAS or other analytics tools is a plus. • Experience managing complex projects within IT infrastructure or product lifecycle management systems (ERP systems). • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Effective negotiation skills combined with conflict management capabilities to resolve issues swiftly and maintain team cohesion. • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies such as Kaizen for continuous improvement initiatives; certification preferred. • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams through change management practices while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
