Manage and maintain technology infrastructure including workstations, laptops, remote users, security systems, phone systems, vendor relationships, and technology improvements.
Associate degree or higher in IT-related field, proficiency in Active Directory and Windows environments, strong communication and problem-solving skills, cybersecurity awareness, and preferably financial institution experience.
Advanced Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a dedicated IT professional to manage and maintain our technology infrastructure. The candidate will collaborate with 3rd party information technology vendors to implement new technologies and maintain a network of workstations, laptops, and remote users. In addition, the candidate will be expected to support end user technical issues and escalate software/hardware problems as needed. Below are some of the responsibilities the IT manager is expected to take on: • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software on workstations and laptops. • Configure new workstations and laptops for on-site and remote use. • Troubleshoot end user technical issues for both remote and on-site employees. • Manage security alarm and camera systems at all branches. • Monitor and update antivirus software on end user workstations and laptops. • Manage and update phone systems, including user creation/deletion and call flow. • Manage and maintain software and asset inventory. • Work on patch management, vulnerability assessment and remediation with vendors. • Manage users in active directory and various 3rd party software and website. • Vendor management, contract review and updates. • Facilities management, break/fix escalation with vendors and local devices. • Manage CU owned ATM’s • Suggest technology infrastructure improvements to further business goals of the credit union. • Participate in evaluation and selection of 3rd party tech vendors. May serve as project manager on selected implementations. Below are the qualifications expected of the IT manager: • Associate degree or higher in an IT-related field such as computer science, technical support, and information technology. • Proficiency in programs such as Active Directory, Windows 10+, Windows Server, Virtual Server and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, time management and organizational skills. • Patience and a willingness to train or show end users more efficient ways of operating. • Understanding and awareness of cybersecurity and threat environments to provide input on potential risks to credit union technology infrastructure. • Experience working in a financial institution preferred.
