We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering CAD Technician/Designer to support our growing municipal water infrastructure team. Responsibilities • Use established CADD standards to prepare electronic design and construction drawings from engineer markups or verbal instructions. • Draft and design civil improvements for treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, storage vessels, and related municipal/industrial water infrastructure. • Prepare precise drawings and specifications that display scale, dimensions, material details, and construction procedures. • Develop and update design files in AutoCAD Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, grading, and pipeline infrastructure. • Incorporate redlines and design changes efficiently while maintaining clarity and accuracy. • Organize and schedule work to meet project budgets and timelines. • Perform drawing reviews and maintain organized project files. • Communicate and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members. Qualifications Basic Requirements • Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field. • Proficient in AutoCAD and able to visualize designs in 2D or 3D dimensions. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work occasional overtime. • Familiarity working in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records research, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications • 3+ years drafting experience. • Proficient in Civil3D, Bluebeam Revu and Autodesk BIM • Experience with civil site design, site grading modeling, and pipeline design. • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
