Position Summary The Operations Manager (OM) is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily clinical and field operations at Advanced Crisis Solutions (ACS). The OM directly supervises Operations Team Leads (OTL) and provides indirect oversight of Behavior Technicians. The position is responsible for managing initial and ongoing training, quality service delivery, staff development, and overall compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The OM position may support additional daily administrative and operational procedures as needed, and integrates closely with other ACS departments. Essential Functions • Provide support and supervision for OTLs, as assigned. • Provide indirect supervision for field staff. • Respond to behavioral challenges in remote fieldwork settings, model safe interventions, and conduct post-incident debriefing. • Strong communication skills that align with ACS culture and policies. • Assist with interviews, hiring, along with providing oversight to onboarding and orientation. • Manage, conduct and document employee evaluations, coaching and progressive discipline, working with administrative and HR personnel to ensure consistency and compliance. • Implement organizational initiatives • Coordinate and deliver required staff training (e.g., Professional Crisis Management, Ukeru, and Positively Motivating Others) • Manage daily scheduling and staff deployment changes. • Support with compliance measures. • Assist with internal employee reviews, supportive conversations, improvement planning as needed, and provide coaching. • Ensure compliance with ACS policies, state regulations, and Title 17 requirements. Required Education/Professional Certifications (if applicable) • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, organizational leadership, or a related field • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (or obtained within 1 month of hire) • PCM Certified Instructor (or obtained within 6 months of hire) • Ukeru Certified Trainer (or obtained within 6 months of hire) • PMO Certified Trainer (or obtained within 6 months of hire) • SHRM Essentials of Human Resources Certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire) Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Minimum 2 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities • Minimum 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination • Fingerprint Clearance: Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and employment verification. • Must sign a Criminal Record Statement (Lic. 508). • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, with proof of insurance. • Must have access to reliable transportation for consistent travel. • Must be able to travel by car as needed for job duties. • Regularly use electronic devices such as phones, computers, tablets, or other screens. • Maintain a professional appearance that reflects the values and culture of ACS. Working Conditions / Physical DemandsThis position requires frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 20 lbs., with occasional lifting of items over 100 lbs. The role involves frequent standing, walking, sitting, typing or handling materials, outward reaching, reaching above shoulder height, and bending. Climbing, crawling, and squatting or kneeling are required occasionally. The employee will frequently push or pull loads up to 12 lbs., and may occasionally be required to push or pull weights ranging from 13–100 lbs.
