Overview At Aduna, securing a global industry-leading supply is a key strategic priority to unlock the new programable connectivity eco-system. We are looking for a Carrier Manager to lead this effort by fostering constructive and effective relationships with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) in Latin America. While this role will be based in Florida you will work with a variety of providers in the region. We are seeking a talented and experienced Carrier Manager, who happens to speak Portuguese, to become a vital part of our Global carrier management supply team. Your primary focus will be to partner with CSPs and close agreements unlocking country coverage for innovative network APIs. This will in turn enable sales to customers from market segments such as Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), Independent Software Vendors (ISV), and Hyperscale Cloud Providers (HCP). In this focused role, you will collaborate and negotiate directly with CSPs to secure coverage of network APIs globally. What you will be focused on: • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with CSPs to secure network API supplies at competitive prices and favourable service levels. • Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations to secure supply agreements, including commercial agreements with attractive pricing and terms. • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other carrier managers and back-office support teams to streamline efforts and reduce lead times. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, privacy, commercial, product, and technical teams, as well as local partners, to facilitate seamless operations. • Deliverables and Reporting: Ensure the completion of commercial agreements within established frameworks, enabling swift onboarding and continuous collaboration with mobile network operators. Report progress accurately using CRM tools, highlighting potential blockers, and proposing solutions. • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to the carrier management process and gather business intelligence from CSP engagements and targeted markets. • Competence Development: Stay updated on emerging APIs and local market needs to enhance personal and team competence. Experience, knowledge and skills, we think you need for the role: • Experience: 5-10 years in product management, sales, system management, or related fields within exposure, core networks, or similar domains. Experience with CSPs or CPaaS companies is advantageous but not essential. • Must speak fluent Portuguese • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of CSP business operations, negotiation strategies, and cost management is crucial. • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with network exposure and APIs, particularly Communications Services APIs and Network APIs, platform solutions, and aaS offerings. • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both CSPs and internal stakeholders. • Personal Traits: A can-do attitude with a passion for achieving results and closing deals. Ability to make fact-based decisions under pressure and ambiguity. Proactively seeks improvement and drives change, aligning with Aduna strategic direction. • Communication: Strong communication skills with a clear awareness of local culture and needs. • Education: Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience, ideally spanning both technology and business disciplines.
