Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Office Administrator to join our dental team. This vital role involves managing front desk operations for a dental office, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting office functions to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency in office management tools, and excellent communication abilities. Bilingual skills are a plus, as well as experience with dental reception responsibilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic office environment while developing your administrative expertise. Duties • 1-2 years of dental admin experience is a must to apply for position • Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive first impression • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously • Scheduling appointments and make hygiene recall calls each day. Fill hygiene schedule every day • Verifying insurances and pulling insurances. • Handle billing and billing questions • sending dental statements • Treatment plan presentations to patients with confidence and competence • Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, addressing inquiries promptly • Maintain organized office supplies and manage inventory levels • Dentrix software experience • Support office management activities including document organization and record keeping • Ensure adherence to office policies regarding phone etiquette and professional communication standard Qualifications • Proven experience in office administration prior office management or receptionist experience preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus • Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency in data entry, proofreading, and document management • Experience handling multi-line phone systems and providing exceptional customer service • Ability to manage calendars efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively • Previous experience as a medical or dental receptionist is desirable but not required • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong phone etiquette skills • This position is integral to maintaining efficient office operations while delivering outstanding support to clients and staff.
