5+ years in analytics or business intelligence, advanced SQL and Power BI proficiency, experience with data warehousing and ETL, strong communication and project management skills, and a relevant university degree.
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION The NAM Manager of Reporting and Analytics at adidas is responsible for building the adidas retail data foundation and delivering cutting-edge data to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. This person will maintain strong relationships with the data community both locally and globally to ensure retail is developing and implementing data solutions that are continuing to drive growth in the retail fleet. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee and develop retail reporting for retail back-office partners, fleet and store leaders. • Create, automate and maintain dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting for retail. • Monitor analytics and metrics results to identify improvement opportunities. • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance and management. • Recommend and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance analytics capabilities. • Work cross-functionally with teams to identify business needs and gather requirements to deliver data to drive business decisions. • Work closely with global data and analytics team to ensure retail data sources are maintained and updated appropriately. • Effectively communicate changes and updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. • Train and support teams on new reporting tools and data solutions, ensuring stakeholders are confident and proficient in using them. • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new data solutions or decommissioning old ones. • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and share out results to stakeholders in a timely manner to drive quick data driven business decisions. • Incorporate predictive models and machine learning to forecast business outcomes. KEY RELATIONSHIPS • Global Data and Analytics Team • Financial Planning • Merchandise Buying, Planning, and Allocation • Retail Finance Team • Visual Merchandising • Retail Activation and Marketing • Store Operations • Retail Training • Store Development • Retail Fleet teams (Sr. Director of Stores, Regional Directors, District Managers and Store Managers) • Commercial Partners (Wholesale, Ecom and Omni) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Familiarity with data and analytics platforms (Databricks highly desired). • Familiarity with data warehouse processes and leading the execution of analytical projects. • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in-person and virtually. • Ability to work independently without direction at times. • Strong business intelligence skills along with logical reasoning. • Experience in managing projects, including the ability to lead projects or work on several projects simultaneously. • Experience in effectively managing change, including training and communication to stakeholders. • Proven experience in developing and implementing data solutions including data warehousing, data integration and ETL processes. • Ability to remain agile and adapt to the needs of the business. • Python/R skills a plus.
