A well-established, ISO-certified U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in engineered industrial products is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The organization supports critical infrastructure across refining, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors, delivering products essential to construction, maintenance, and turnaround operations worldwide. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Director of Operations, responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory optimization, and alignment with production and customer demand. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily supply chain operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics • Develop and execute supply plans based on demand forecasts and production schedules • Optimize inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, turnover, and adherence to FIFO practices • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, production, and purchasing to ensure seamless execution • Manage relationships with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to drive cost and service efficiency • Oversee domestic and international shipping compliance and documentation • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and problem-solving • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, logistics, and inventory management • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency • Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members while fostering accountability and collaboration Location: South Houston Salary: $130,000-$160,000 Benefits: Healthcare, 401k, PTO/Holiday Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field • 5+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment • Strong expertise in inventory control, production planning, and logistics • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, or similar) • Proven ability to manage suppliers and freight carriers • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment Position Overview This opportunity offers the chance to play a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving supply chain performance, and supporting continued organizational growth within a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
