Job Description: Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify a detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Specialist to support part-time marketing initiatives across digital and visual platforms. This role will contribute to the promotion of research publications, podcasts, and digital products through coordinated campaigns that blend creativity with performance insights. The ideal candidate enjoys balancing hands-on content execution with campaign coordination, thrives in collaborative environments, and brings both creative and analytical strengths to their work. Key Responsibilities: • Write, edit, and adapt marketing content for websites, email campaigns, newsletters, and social media channels • Support campaign development by creating messaging, taglines, and promotional copy for digital publications and multimedia content • Collaborate with designers and creative partners to produce digital and print visuals, including graphics, banners, and social assets • Create and update visual assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva • Maintain promotional and editorial calendars to ensure timely and accurate campaign execution • Assist with planning and launching email and digital marketing campaigns, including scheduling and testing • Monitor campaign performance metrics and support reporting on engagement, reach, and growth trends • Help identify opportunities to improve messaging, targeting, and creative assets based on data insights • Organize and maintain shared marketing assets, templates, and libraries • Provide coordination and quality control support for marketing deliverables tied to events, releases, and special initiatives Qualifications: • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content roles - ideally within the nonprofit sector • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail • Experience working with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Mailchimp • Proficiency with design and content tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva • Familiarity with analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, or marketing dashboards • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Collaborative mindset with the flexibility to work across cross-functional teams Additional Details: • Contract role with an expected duration of approximately one year • Flexible work hours within standard business hours; weekly standing meeting required • Hybrid schedule with preference for limited onsite presence • Interviews will include an initial phone screen followed by a virtual panel discussion • Proof of eligibility to work will be required upon offer Perks: • Flexible part-time schedule • Opportunity to support high-visibility digital and publishing initiatives • Collaborative, mission-focused work environment • Exposure to large-scale digital campaigns and professional publications Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
