About The Company Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization with operations across multiple locations. The company is seeking a highly polished and experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct support to a CEO and help ensure the executive team operates efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Description We are seeking a high-level Executive Assistant who thrives in a demanding, fast-moving environment and is comfortable supporting a senior executive with a complex schedule and competing priorities. This position is approximately 90% traditional executive support, with additional responsibilities involving project coordination, contractor communication, scheduling, and occasional personal support for the CEO. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, proactive, professional, and able to anticipate needs before they arise. This is an onsite position based at a manufacturing facility in Kings Mountain, NC. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the CEO - Manage a complex calendar, schedule, meetings, appointments, and competing priorities - Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation and follow-up - Arrange travel, itineraries, accommodations, and logistics - Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other executive materials - Serve as a key point of contact for internal leaders, external partners, and contractors - Assist with project coordination and follow-up on executive-level initiatives - Coordinate occasional personal and household-related logistics for the CEO and spouse, as appropriate - Track action items and ensure deadlines and commitments are followed through - Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive business and executive information - Accompany the CEO approximately once per month for Senior Leadership meetings at various company locations; travel may include driving responsibilities - Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively address issues before they become obstacles Qualifications - 5+ years of experience supporting a C-suite executive, CEO, President, or similarly senior leader - Demonstrated success in a high-level Executive Assistant role - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills - Strong attention to detail and follow-through - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment - Highly proactive approach with the ability to anticipate executive needs - Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism - Comfortable working with senior leadership, contractors, and external stakeholders - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business technology - Ability and willingness to travel approximately once per month - Valid driver's license and ability to drive as needed Additional Details This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working at a very fast pace and can confidently manage shifting priorities. The CEO has exceptionally high expectations and values someone who is disciplined, polished, responsive, and consistently one step ahead. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership, operating independently, and maintaining composure while managing a demanding schedule.
