Job Title: AP Analyst Location: St. Paul, Minnesota – Hybrid (weekly onsite presence required). Local Minnesota applicants only. Pay Rate: $60K-70K annually dependent on applicable experience Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Local Minnesota applicants only. We’re supporting a St. Paul organization that’s adding an AP Analyst to their group as they continue to build out their accounting function. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the “why” behind the numbers just as much as the day-to-day processing. If you like Excel, spotting trends, improving workflows, and partnering with both vendors and internal teams, this role checks a lot of boxes. The hybrid schedule is also a nice perk, and the team is very open to new ideas. What you’ll be doing: • Handling AP processing with accuracy and consistency across larger invoice volumes • Owning reconciliations, vendor statement matching, and prepping clean data for payment runs • Using Excel to analyze AP trends, flag discrepancies, and elevate recurring issues • Supporting month-end close with reporting, accruals, and cleanup tasks • Collaborating with operations, procurement, and accounting to streamline processes What we’re looking for: • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and general data analysis comfort) • Background in AP, accounting operations, or a related finance role • Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset: someone who likes to make processes better • Great communication skills and the ability to work comfortably in a hybrid setup If you or someone in your network is looking for that next step in AP and wants a role with growth, visibility, and a team that values collaboration, I’d be happy to share more details.
