Workday Solution Architect Location: Saint Louis, MO or Remote Overview We are seeking a Workday Solution Architect to support the implementation of Workday Financials and to design the integration and functional support strategy. This role will also include building and leading a team for ongoing support post go-live. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and system integrators, requiring strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across both technical and functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary technical and functional point of contact across all Workday Financials modules • Own and validate the overall Workday technical architecture, including integrations, security, reporting, and data conversion • Validate system integrator recommendations for configuration while providing thought leadership to ensure business objectives are met • Collaborate with technical architects to ensure architectural alignment and cohesive end-to-end design • Guide integration design using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs • Provide direction and best practices for user access, security role design, SSO, provisioning, and data security standards (PII, PCI, CCPA, GDPR, etc.) • Contribute to tenant management and strategy planning, including environment governance and end-to-end testing strategies • Define and support the reporting and analytics strategy, including PRISM, Adaptive, and Power BI dashboards • Support data migration activities, including data mapping, best practices, and technical guidance Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field—or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of experience in ERP systems, including hands-on experience with Workday Financials • Proven experience supporting a NetSuite-to-Workday implementation or similar ERP-to-Workday migration • Expertise in system integrations, data modeling, and data migration strategy/execution • Familiarity with Workday security, tenant management, and reporting tools • Strong working knowledge of Power BI and enterprise reporting frameworks • Experience working with Systems Integrators and managing cross-functional dependencies • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Workday certification in Financials, Integration, or Reporting • Experience with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, SOAP/REST API) • Hands-on experience with PRISM Analytics and Adaptive Planning • Background in regulated environments with audit and data privacy requirements Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Short- and long-term disability • Life insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Paid vacation and holidays
