Overall Responsibility The Executive Mortgage Coach is not about delivering standard presentations. You are the key driver of sales acceleration and professional development. You will own the content, the coaching, and the performance metrics that directly translate into revenue growth and national market share. Key Responsibilities & Impact: What you'll own This role requires a leader who can not only train but also diagnose and solve revenue challenges. You will be accountable for increasing sales performance and ensuring every team member is performing at maximum capacity. • Own the Curriculum: Design, build, and continuously iterate a cutting-edge sales enablement curriculum covering advanced Non-QM/Commercial product knowledge, market trends, compliance, and objection-handling techniques. • Drive Performance: Go beyond simple assessments. Translate KPIs (conversion rates, pipeline velocity, time-to-close) into targeted, individualized coaching plans that directly impact team and individual profitability. • Strategic Partnership: Partner directly with Sales Leadership and Executive Teams to diagnose skill gaps and lock in training content that is fully aligned with quarterly revenue targets and strategic business goals. • Lead the Transformation: Facilitate dynamic, engaging workshops, high-pressure role-playing scenarios, and one-on-one coaching sessions that build confidence and sales discipline. • Spearhead Development: Oversee the entire sales journey, from the onboarding of new hires to advanced continuous development programs for seasoned veterans. • Maintain Market Edge: Act as the internal subject matter expert, constantly scanning the market for regulatory changes and product innovations to keep our sales team at the forefront of the industry. Qualifications and Experience: The Non-Negotiables We are looking for a coach who has closed loans and understands the sales life cycle first-hand from start to finish. • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in Mortgage Sales or Sales Training, with a verifiable track record of driving measurable performance improvements. • Capital Markets Knowledge: Deep, operational knowledge of mortgage products, the loan process, and the ability to articulate 'why' we win with our offerings. • Executive Presentation: Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills required to engage and motivate high-earning, experienced adult learners. • Coaching Certifications: Prior coaching or mentoring certification/experience is highly desirable. • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., CRM reporting). • Location: This is an on-site position only at our office in Troy, MI, fostering the hands-on coaching and collaborative culture necessary to drive sales excellence.
