Bachelor’s degree required, 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, strong negotiation and project management skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and preferred MBA or certifications with sustainability knowledge.
Description: • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across assigned categories to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply assurance • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and trends • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies • Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives • Drive compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards • Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and track sourcing performance metrics • Lead or support cross-functional sourcing projects and initiatives • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives and drive supplier performance and innovation Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (required) • MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills • Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities • Experience in managing complex supplier relationships and contracts • Experience in global sourcing and working with international suppliers (preferred) • Knowledge of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices (preferred) • Ability to influence and drive change in a matrixed organization (preferred) • Knowledge of French required for positions permanently located in Quebec (conditional) Benefits: • French-language training offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French • Reasonable accommodations in the application process for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans
