Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer based remotely in Hartford, CT, you will play a critical role in delivering technical support and service to our manufacturing customers. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will ensure the optimal installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machinery, helping clients maximize productivity and minimize downtime. What You'll Do: - You will provide remote and on-site technical support to manufacturing customers, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. - You will install, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools and related equipment. - You will collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions. - You will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. - You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to support product improvements and customer satisfaction. - You will stay updated on the latest CNC technologies and industry best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role. - Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, particularly in CNC machinery. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
