Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in technical solution engineering and a strong background in API development and troubleshooting. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, as well as experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, is also required.

Introduction: Action1 is looking for a technically strong and communicative Solution Engineer (Integrations) to develop new product integrations with external systems. This is a greenfield opportunity to shape our integrations architecture and help define how Action1 works with critical third-party tools like ServiceNow, identity providers, and vulnerability management platforms. In many cases, you’ll work directly with customers to gather requirements, analyze use cases, formulate enhancement requests for Action1's core platform to enable these integrations, and implement integrations using APIs. Responsibilities: Work closely with customers and internal teams to gather ambiguous or high-level integration requirements Define and design integration strategies for various tools, including ServiceNow, Tenable, Rapid7, Azure AD, ConnectWise, and Splunk. Evaluate feasibility of proposed integrations and identify any product limitations; submit clear enhancement proposals to the dev team Prototype and implement integration workflows using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) Research how other vendors approach integration and apply best practices to Action1's use cases Create customer-facing technical documentation and internal support materials Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success to ensure seamless delivery of integration solutions 5+ years of experience in technical solution engineering, integration engineering, or implementation engineering Strong background in API development, consumption, and troubleshooting (RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth2) Experience working directly with customers to understand technical requirements and translate them into product solutions Hands-on experience with ticketing, identity, or automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Azure AD, RMM/PSA systems) Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to synthesize complex needs into structured proposals Experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, ideally in cybersecurity or endpoint management Familiarity with Agile practices and working in cross-functional product teams Prior experience in a Solutions Engineer or Implementation Engineer role supporting post-sale technical work A collaborative environment encouraging you to own your domain and implement best practices Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for promotion.
