Full Description

The Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, sorting, and delivering a variety of packages and materials from different vendors throughout the site. The Material Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and planning of activities to support customer orders and the timely delivery of products. This position oversees inventories and the maintenance of related records and reports. Ensures good function of systems and procedures for control and monitoring of inventory. Tracks and monitors status and usage of company property. Pay Rate: $34.93 per hour compensation Essential Job Functions • Receive packages on site and deliver them to correct person/ department • Receive mail and sort mail from USPS and deliver it to correct department • Verifies materials or merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages or shortages. • Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials. • Collect and file packing slips from received orders • Packaging items to be sent out • Call carriers for pick-up including UPS, and FedEx Express, Ground, and Freight • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the warehouse and all warehouse material. • Conduct daily inspection to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. • May be required to ship hazardous materials • Travel off-site to collect or receive packages • Conduct inventory for items in storage • Assist with loading or unloading delivery vehicles • Collect reservations for company vehicles and dispatch those vehicles • Communicate in written or verbal form with customers to notify them when packages are delivered and the process to accept deliveries. • Tracks and monitors the status and usage of company property. • Other duties as assigned
