Job Title: Phlebotomist - Madison Heights Stationary Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Madison Heights location. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting, with the potential for career advancement and raises at six months. Responsibilities • Draw patient blood samples approximately 25-30 times per day. • Properly process and package blood samples for shipment to the medical testing sites. • Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws. • Coordinate the pick-up and shipping of samples. Essential Skills • Proficiency in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture. • Ability to process and package samples efficiently. • At least 2+ Years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with experience in drawing, processing, and packaging samples. • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections. • High School Diploma. Work Environment The position is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with varied training schedules in Farmington (2 weeks) . Employees are expected to wear navy blue scrubs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
