Job Title: Electrical Equipment Tester Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Tester with experience in the electrical field, particularly in panel building and testing of electrical equipment. This role involves testing 600-volt battery backup enclosures to ensure functionality and durability while troubleshooting any issues that arise. There is a potential opportunity to transition into a level 2 role with PLC and automation skills. Responsibilities • Test 600-volt batteries for functionality and durability. • Troubleshoot issues with battery backup enclosures. • Build electrical panels, including setting up and wiring. • Perform electrical testing on panels, with training provided if necessary. • Read and interpret electrical schematics. • Collaborate with senior controls technicians and engineers for oversight. • Engage in PLC editing and modification, if experienced. • Participate in panel design, if experienced. Essential Skills • Experience in building electrical panels. • Knowledge of electrical, electronics, and controls. • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving. • Strong attention to detail. • Good communication skills for documenting and reporting findings. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with PLC programming and automation. • Background in panel design is a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment The position is located in a new facility with a clean and great culture. There is access to a gym on-site. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
